Day to day we all have a do-list that seems to get longer as time passes, but that doesn’t have to be the case when handling your social media accounts. This blog post will guide you through how to stay on top of your social media content planning for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Google+.
Like we mentioned in our previous post, 3 steps to the right social media platforms for your business you do not have to be on every social platform, most businesses have at 2 or more social media platforms they showcase their brand on. With almost two billion unique monthly users, Facebook is a good starting place for many businesses.
But, depending on the audience you’re trying to reach, there are lots of other great networks to choose from — including Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest. Start by building a presence on a couple that are a good fit for your business.
How Often Do You Have To Post To Your Social Media Accounts
The frequencies listed under each social network below are suggested frequencies; not requirements for success. Depending on the role each network plays in your social media plan, you may want to adjust these numbers.
- Facebook – 1-2 times per day
- Twitter – 5 times per day or more
- LinkedIn – 1 time per day, Monday through Friday
- Google+ – up to 5 times per day
Another good way to know when to post to social media is to monitor your social media accounts for feedback, and look for engagement peak times.
